Lately things have been really busy at work. It's one of those things where, a small project turns into something major and everyone feels obligated to work every waking minute to get it done. No, strike that, the boss feels everyone should and will be obligated to work every waking minute to get it done.

Did I mention I do most of my midweek runs at lunch?

Today I needed to do intervals, but when lunch rolled around, the boss was pushing me to keep going. By the time I could run, it was 2:30pm, and I get off at 4:30. I quickly changed into my running clothes and was about to get out the door when the phone rang...

When I finally got out the door at 3:30, I was PISSED, but channeled the energy into the run. Now I feel much better. :-D
