CIM Training Day 1: Cross Training

Breaking out the highlighter, I can now say I've completed day one. :) 45 minutes on the stairclimber, 442 calories burned.

Here's a funny story. I've said all along, the gym has a lot of extra space that's not really being used. Apparently they agreed, so they're in the process of clearing out about 1/4 of the place so they can lease it to the bounce house thing next door.

Along with moving out the stuff, they switched the entrance from one side of their facility to the other. Here's how people used to park. The entrance is on the other side of the trees (it looks like two buildings but it's one long building):


If you notice, there's cars to the right of the bike racks. You can't see them in this picture, but the other cars are parked to the right of the camera, not in front of the gym but directly across from the entrance.

Here's how they parked today. The entrance is now close to the edge of the building to the left:


I'm parked where I always park. Everyone else has moved over to that side, now parking closer to the front door. The dark SUV is that of one of the trainers. That just made me chuckle when I drove up and saw that. :)
