The wind sucks! I just thought I'd say that. :) When I ran this afternoon, here's what the Pre said...
That's right, 12mph. We're not supposed to have 12mph winds the first week of August! The first mile was awful, I felt like I was running through mashed potatoes or something, and I had to hold the hat to my head.

Mile 1: 10:15.04
Mile 2: 9:35.59
Mile 3: 9:57.29
3 miles, 29:47, 9:57/mi. I walked the last .18 mi back to work, total 396 calories burned.
Tomorrow's my rest day as I drive up north to Lava Beds National Monument for some caving. While there, I have a 5 mile tempo run on Saturday, and an 8-mile long run on Sunday. 8 miles will be the longest I've run since the May 3 marathon. Both of these runs will be at ~4000' of elevation.
