I did my sprint intervals today, which amounted to:
10 minute warmup @ 9:20/mi
2 * (4 * 400m), 1:30 RI, 2:30 between sets
10 minute cooldown
It was raining, so I decided to do it on the treadmill. I had some leg pain at first, but once I got into the swing of the routine, I was able to run without it.
The big thing is tonight I'm pain free. Thank goodness!
I picked up my foam roller, although I haven't used it yet. Unlike how some people have reported, mine didn't come with an instructional DVD. I got a 4-page photocopied guide, but that was it. I still need to learn what to do!
Anyway, it was a good day. 540 calories burned.
