Today's Workouts

Other than my wife not going to the gym tonight, things were great. I made up for the missed gym cardio with home cardio, getting on the stairclimber for episode 4 of Spartacus.

Morning: Body Pump, 45 minutes, 205 calories. I REALLY felt cheated on this one, I should have worked harder.

Lunch: 22 minutes of weight training & a whopping 98 calories.

Warmup, w/45lb bar, 3 circuits of 5
Overhead Barbell Squats
Barbell Squats
Good Mornings
Romanian Deadlifts
Bent-over Rows

Workout
Bench Press, Sets: 7,5,3x95lbs
Single-Arm Dumbbell Row, Sets: 8,6,4x(2x35lbs)
External Rotation, Sets: 7,5,3x(2x12lbs)
Crunch, Sets: 20,10,5

This was followed by a FABULOUS 3.2 mile run where I burned 345 more. Everything came together, including the 72-degree, breezy weather, and I nailed an 8:24 pace. In fact, my 5k time was identical to my "official" 5k time a few weeks ago at the Peach Festival 5k.

Seriously, look at these splits, I was quite happy with them:

Calories burned: 1068
